NorthPoint Technology Group is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join our team. A Senior Systems Engineer at NorthPoint Technology Group is responsible for providing Server, LAN, WAN, Storage, Virtualization, and application delivery designs, implemenations, and support for our client base both remotely through our managed network services platform and on site. You would have leadership responsibilities on our network design and implementation projects. You must be able to plan, implement, and manage projects for our clients. In addition you would have the opportunity to work within our sales process by providing network assessments and recommendations to our potential clients.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Job Requirements:

  • Technical requirements include a minimum of ten years hands on experience with:
  • Microsoft Windows Server
  • Switching and Routing
  • VMware VCP 5/6 Certification
  • Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop
  • Storage Area Networks
  • Exchange Server
  • Internet connectivity and security
  • Backup and Disaster Recovery Solutions
  • Strong knowledge of local and wide area networks

Additional requirements include:

  • The ability to enthusiastically work with clients both remotely and onsite.
  • Great customer services and communication skills.
  • The ability to see our clients technical problems through from initial contact to completion.
  • An organized self-starter with the ability to multi- task in a fast-paced environment.

Preference will be given to candidates with:

  • Prior experience with an IT solution provider.
  • Certifications in the above technologies (VCP, CCEA, CCNA, MCSE, MCITP).
  • Hands on experience with ConnectWise and Kaseya are highly valued.

Our target clients are primarily SMB companies in Central Florida.

We are a Microsoft Partner, Cisco Select Partner, Citrix Silver Solution Advisor, VMware Partner, EMC Velocity Partner, HP Partner, Symantec Partner, IBM Reseller, and Dell reseller.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a sales professional with a minimum of five years experience selling technology services into the SMB market (20-250 employees) in Central Florida. This position will focus on our managed services and outsourced IT offering. The Account Executive responsibilities include prospecting, opportunity identification, customer relationship management, and direct sales to senior-level client executives, as well as management of selected business partner relationships. This is not a technical position but an understanding of the concepts of our services and the value they provide to our client base is critical.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Overall business development and new sales captures primarily within the Central Florida market.
  • Develop strong relationships within the targeted account segment. This will require gaining access to key decision makers through prospecting and collaborating with partners.
  • Conduct presentations and consultative selling to executives and C-level customers.
  • Drive the demand generation process, in conjunction with appropriate internal support teams, to achieve revenue growth targets.
  • Participate actively in local forums and other venues where executive presence is important to developing relationships that will lead to future engagements.
  • Lead contract negotiations and renewals.

QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum of five years of successful business development or sales experience within the technology consulting, network services, or security services arena.
  • A proven track record in generating a pipeline of prospects, cultivating and managing through a sales cycle, and closing business.
  • Strong prospecting, cold calling, lead generation, and client pursuit skills are essential to success in this role.
  • Ability to effectively qualify prospects based upon buying criteria.
